MICROSOFT OUTLOOK EXPRESS, 2003 and 2007 |

- Select Tools from the menu, then select Accounts...
- A box will appear. Click Add and select Mail.
- Enter your name as you want it to appear on your emails and click Next.
- Select I already have an e-mail…., key in your email address, and then click Next.
- Set the server type as POP3 if you are using POP3 account or IMAP if you are using IMAP account.
- For incoming mail servers, enter pop.yourdomain.xyz or imap.yourdomain.xyz and for outgoing mail server, enter smtp.yourdomain.xyz.
Note:
yourdomain.xyz is your domain name and extension such as .com.
- Click on Next.
- Enter your email address for the Account Name. Enter the password you set for this account.
Note:
Do NOT check the box "Log on using Secure Password Authentication".
- Click Next and then click Finish.
- Now you will see Internet Account window, click on your domain and then click Properties.
Note:
if you can't see Internet Account window, click on Tools menu, and click on Accounts. After clicking Accounts the window will appear. In this window, click on your domain until it is highlighted, then click on Properties.
- When the next screen appears, click on the Servers tab. Under Outgoing Mail Server, check the box next to My server requires authentication. Click OK.
Note:
You MUST do this step so you can send mail from your domain.
- Now, you're ready to send and receive mail. To set up multiple accounts, follow these steps again.

- In Outlook 2007, Click on Tools from the Menu and choose E-mail Accounts
- Under E-mail, choose View or change existing e-mail accounts
- In the dialog box of E-mail Accounts, press Add button to add a new e-mail account into current profile.
- in the dialog box of E-mail Acscounts, choose POP3 if you are using POP account or choose IMAP if you are using IMAP account to add a POP3/SMTP or IMAP/SMTP email account. Press Next to go to next page.
- Key in your credentials under POP3 or IMAP, key in pop.yourdomainname.xyz or imap.yourdomainname.xyz and under SMTP, key in smtp.yourdomainname.xyz. Click More Settings …
- In the dialog box of Internet E-mail Settings, Select Outgoing Server. Check My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication and Use same settings as my incoming mail server. Select Ok.
Note:
Don’t forget to do this step. Otherwise you only can receive message from server but you can’t send out any messages.
- Highlight the e-mail account you set just now and choose Set as Default to make this account as your default e-mail account. Click Finish to finish the account setting.

- In Outlook 2007, from the Tools menu, select Account Settings.
- On the E-mail tab, click New.
- Select Microsoft Exchange, POP3, IMAP, or HTTP and click Next.
- Check Manually configure server settings or additional server types and click Next.
- Select Internet E-mail and click Next.
- Enter the requested information:
- Your Name: your name
- Email Address: the email address the messages will be sent from
- Account Type: POP3 or IMAP
- Incoming Mail server: pop.domainname.xyz (for POP account) or imap.domainname.xyz (for IMAP account).
- Outgoing Mail server: smtp.domainname.xyz
- User Name: the full email address
- Password: the password for the email address
Note:
yourdomain.xyz is your domain name and extension such as .com.
- Click More Settings.
- On the Outgoing Server tab, check My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication.
- Select Use same settings as my incoming mail server and click OK.
- Click Test Account Settings to verify everything is configured correctly.
- Click Next and then click Finish.

- From the Outlook Express Menu, click on Tools then click on Accounts.
- Click on the Mail tab and then click the Properties button.
- Click on the Servers tab.
- Delete the password that's in the password text box and enter your new password.
You may check Remember Password if you so desire.
- Click Apply, then OK, and then click Close on Internet Accounts. You are now ready to send and receive email using your new password.

- Click on File menu, click Import And Export.
- Click Export To File, and then click Next.
- Click Personal Folder File (.pst), and then click Next.
- Click the Folder that you want to export the .pst file to, and then click Next.
- Click Browse, and then select the location where you want the new .pst file to be saved.
- In the File Name box, , type the name that you want to use for the new .pst file, and then click OK.
- Click Finish.

- Click on File menu, click Import And Export.
- Click Import from another program or file, and then click Next.
- Click Personal Folder File (.pst), and then click Next.
- Type the path and the name of the .pst file that you want to import, and then click Next.
- Select the folder that you want to import. To import everything in the .pst file, select the top of the hierarchy.
- Click Finish.
Note:
If the .pst file that you want to import is stored on a removable device, such as a floppy disk, a portable hard disk drive, a CD-ROM, a magnetic tape cassette, or any other storage medium, insert or connect the storage device, and then copy the .pst file to the hard disk drive of the computer.
When you copy the .pst file, make sure that the Read-Only attribute is not selected. If this attribute is selected, you might receive the following error message:
"The specified device, file, or path could not be accessed. It may have been deleted, it may be in use, you may be experiencing network problems, or you may not have sufficient permission to access it. Close any application using this file and try again."
If you receive this error message, clear the Read-Only attribute, and then copy the file again.

- Open Outlook 2003 or Outlook 2007.
- Click Calendar on the left side of the window, or click Go on the menu then choose Calendar.
- Locate the area labeled, My Calendars, on the left side of the window. Your calendar is found here—it's probably called "Calendar" (not "Calendar in Personal Folders").
- Open your calendar's sharing permissions:
- If you are using Outlook 2003, right-click on your calendar and select Sharing....
- If you are using Outlook 2007, right-click on your calendar and select Properties then click Permissions.
- Click Add....
- Type the Lastname of the person you want to share your calendar with.
Note:
To search by anything other than last name, click Advanced Find.
- Double-click on a name to add that person. Each name appears in the Add box at the bottom of the window.
- Make sure there are no duplicate names in the Add box. Then click OK.
- Select one of the names you just added. Right now, the Permission Level is None.
- Select a role from the Permission Level drop-down menu. Reviewer and Editor, two common permission levels (types of sharing), Remember to give yourself editor right.
- If you added multiple people in step F, above, make sure you assign a permission level to each person.
- When you are done, click Apply and then click OK.

- Key in your credentials (Username, Domain Name and Password) and click Login.
- Click on Email Accounts.
- Click on Modify User icon.
- Select Send Vacation Auto-Response and click Modify User.
- To log out, click on Log Out or click on Main Menu to go back to the main menu.
